The trial version is not limited. After the trial ends, you will not be able anymore to load point clouds into AutoCAD, all created geometry models & line work will be saved in an AutoCAD (DWG) file for further use.

License is stiched to computer hardware, not to the user account.

Yes, there are no restrictions.

Autodesk apps, plugins, add-ons, or in API-tools from the App store or other sources cannot be installed on AutoCAD LT. They can be installed in the full version and toolsets.

You can import any point cloud file from a 3D laser scanner, UAV or photogrammetry software. Supported point cloud formats: *.E57, *.FLS, *.RCP/RCS, *.PTX, *.ZFS,*.LAS, *.LAZ, *.PTS, *.PLY, *.DP, *.FPR, *.LSPROJ, *.FWS, *.CL3, *.CLR, *.RSP, ASCII / NEZ (X,Y,Z/i/RGB) and custom ASCII / TXT file format imports.We recommending to use structured point clouds in case to get access to all Undet for AutoCAD & Undet Browser features.

Undet software is well optimized and can handle massive point clouds (hundreds of GBs in size) on a regular PC. No need to worry about file sizes.

There are no special requirements, current workstations or gaming laptops can handle massive point clouds:

• Operating System: Windows 10 & 11 OS 64 bit.
• RAM: 16GB and more
• Hard Drive: A solid-state drive (SSD). For maximum performance, please use M.2 SSDs.
• CPU: Intel Core i5 and newer.
• GPU: NVidia or AMD graphics processor with OpenGL version 4.4 or newer support. For example: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1650 / RTX 3050 / Quadro K2000 and newer. AMD Radeon R9 270/FirePro W5100 and newer.

The Undet software license requires your digital system codes (SITE & MID) to be activated. These codes can be find via Undet license manager can be opened in Extensions -> Undet menu by clicking “About”

Only one employee can open the Undet project from the local server. To avoid performance drop when working from the server, Link speed (Receive/Transmit) should be 10/10 (Gbps). Without this speed, the point cloud project should be copied to the local SSD disk drive.

Virtual Machines are not supported.

There are several shortcuts that speed up the operation of several functions:

CRTL+SHIFT+Q – activates Undet view section (clipping box).

CTRL+SHIFT+1 – switch grips of view section (clipping box)

SHIFT+1 – temporary enables Undet snapping to point cloud points
